# Filemonk pricing and plans

> What the plans include, what the limits mean, and how to change plan.

Filemonk's plans differ on two things that matter day to day: how much storage you get for your files, and how many digital orders a month are included. Features layer on top of that.

## See the plans

1. Click **Filemonk** in the left menu of your Shopify admin.
2. Click **Plans** in the app's menu.

Each plan shows its upload limit, its included digital orders per month, and its features. Your current plan is marked **Subscribed**. Subscribing goes through Shopify's own billing, so charges appear on your Shopify invoice.

## The two limits

**Upload limit** is the total size of the files you store and sell with Filemonk. It is a ceiling on your library, not a per-file limit. See [Upload files](https://help.filemonk.io/upload-files/).

**Digital orders per month** counts orders containing digital products that Filemonk processed. Above the included number, a per-order fee applies rather than delivery stopping. The exact allowance and fee are shown on each plan.

## What paid plans add

The plan cards list features in full. The ones merchants most often upgrade for:

- Sending from your own email domain with DKIM authentication. See [Change the From address](https://help.filemonk.io/change-the-sender-address/)

- Download limits, order status checks, fraud protection, and automatic fulfilment
- Multi-language support

## Change plan

Choose a plan on the **Plans** page and confirm through Shopify's billing. If you have a discount code, use **Apply discount** before subscribing.

Downgrading removes the paid features from that plan, so the branding line returns and gated settings stop applying. Check what you rely on before moving down.

## Troubleshooting

### A feature I use disappeared

Almost always a plan change. Compare your current plan's features against what you were using.

### I've hit my order limit

Delivery continues; a per-order fee applies above the included number, or you can upgrade. See [Usage alerts](https://help.filemonk.io/usage-alerts/).

### I've hit my upload limit

Uploads stop until you free space or upgrade. Deleting files you no longer sell is the quickest fix. See [Manage your files](https://help.filemonk.io/manage-your-files/).

### A discount code won't apply

Use **Apply discount** on the Plans page before subscribing, and check the code has not expired or is not limited to a particular plan.

## FAQ

### How am I billed?

Through Shopify, so Filemonk charges appear on your Shopify invoice alongside your other apps.

### What counts as a digital order?

An order containing digital products that Filemonk processed. Orders with only physical items do not count.

### Do imported orders count?

Orders imported from before your install count only when a customer actually downloads. See [Process orders placed before you installed Filemonk](https://help.filemonk.io/process-orders-placed-before-install/).

### What happens to my files if I downgrade?

They stay. If you are over the new plan's storage, you cannot upload more until you are back under it.

### Can I cancel?
