See your downloads and sales analytics
Home carries an Analytics card summarising what Filemonk has done for your store: orders processed and downloads delivered, over time. Alongside it, the Usage card shows where you stand against your plan.
Where to look
- Click Filemonk in the left menu of your Shopify admin.
- Click Home in the app's menu.
- Find Analytics for orders and downloads, and Usage for your plan.
If the charts are empty, there is not enough order history yet. They fill in as orders arrive.
How to read it
Orders counts orders Filemonk processed, which is not the same as your total Shopify orders: only orders containing digital products with files linked appear here.
Downloads counts files actually downloaded. Comparing the two tells you something useful. Downloads far above orders means customers re-downloading, or links being shared. Downloads well below orders means customers are not collecting their files, which usually points at a delivery problem rather than disinterest.
Usage shows what you have consumed against your plan: storage used, orders in the current cycle, and bandwidth. See Usage alerts.

Analytics is a summary. To see what one customer did, open their order and use See download history. See See download history for an order.
To take the underlying data elsewhere, export your orders to CSV from the Orders page.
Troubleshooting
The charts are empty
Not enough orders yet. The card says so directly rather than showing a flat line.
Orders here don't match my Shopify order count
They should not. Only orders with digital products that have files linked are processed by Filemonk, so a store selling both physical and digital goods will always show fewer here.
Downloads are much lower than orders
Customers are not getting to their files. Check that emails are being sent and are arriving, and look at a few orders for a pattern. See Troubleshoot a single order.
Downloads are far higher than orders
Either customers re-download often, which is normal for multi-device buyers, or links are being shared. Tighten limits if it is costing you bandwidth. See Limit the number of downloads per order.
FAQ
Can I see analytics per product?
Not on this card. Open a file to see its recent orders, or export orders to CSV and work from there. See Manage your files.
Can I export the numbers?
Export your orders to CSV from the Orders page, which gives you the underlying rows to summarise yourself.
Does this replace Shopify's analytics?
No. It covers digital delivery only. Revenue, sessions, and conversion live in Shopify.
